Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Monday, March 13th
Departure Day. Overnight flight on United Airlines from U.S. to Tel Aviv, Israel.
Day 2 - Tuesday, March 14th
Arrive Tel Aviv, Israel 3:20 pm. Overnight at the Tal Hotel, Tel Aviv. Enjoy a stroll on the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner at hotel.
Day 3 - Wednesday, March 15th
7:30 am departure from the hotel. Journey to Caesarea Maritima by the Sea. Travel to Mt. Carmel where Elijah fought the prophets of Baal. Enjoy a visit at Tel Megiddo in the valley of Armageddon. Then a tour of the Nazareth Village. Dinner and overnight at Sea of Galilee Hotel, Tiberias.
Day 4 - Thursday, March 16th
Early morning ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit the First Century Boat at Ginosar. We visit Magdala and Tabgha and have St. Peter's Fish for lunch. From there we visit Capernaum, Migdol and a walk on the Mt. of Beatitudes. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee Hotel, Tiberias.
Day 5 - Friday, March 17th
Travel down the Jordan Valley towards the Dead Sea. Visit the ruins of ancient Jericho. Lunch followed by a visit to Qumran and the caves of the Dead Sea Scrolls. We'll trek the area around the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Ride the cable car to the top of Mt. Masada. Enjoy an evening swim in the waters of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight at
the David Hotel Dead Sea.
Day 6 - Saturday, March 18th
Our day will begin with a visit to the River Jordan baptismal site. Visit to Gordon's Calvary and the Tomb of Jesus. Visit the Israel Museum and explore the ruins of Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight at the Lady Stern Hotel, Jerusalem.
Day 7 - Sunday, March 19th
7:00 am tour the Temple Mount and then the Western Wall and Tunnel. We then go to the Southern Steps and Davidson Center. Lunch. Visit the Temple Institute and then participate in the Sifting Project. View of Jerusalem from Mt. of Olives and visit Garden of Gethsemane. Dinner and overnight at the Lady Stern Hotel, Jerusalem.
Day 8 - Monday, March 20th
The day starts with a drive north past Bethel to Shiloh. Lunch. 3D movie at the City of David. Tour the ancient City of David and walk through the tunnel down to the Pool of Siloam. Shopping at the Joppa Gate. Dinner and overnight at the Lady Stern Hotel, Jerusalem.
Day 9 - Tuesday, March 21st
9:00 am crossing of the Allenby Bridge into Jordan. A Jordanian guide will meet us at the border. Our trip will include a jeep tour of Wadi Rum. We will visit Madaba and Mt. Nebo. Perhaps a stop at the archaeological Tall el-Hammam site (possibly Sodom). Dinner and overnight at the Petra Moon Hotel.
Day 10 - Wednesday, March 22nd
We visit transfer to Petra for a tour. Lunch at Petra. Drive to Amman, then dinner and overnight at the Landmark Hotel.
Day 11 - Thursday, March 23rd
3:40 am flight from Amman, Jordan to Frankfurt, Germany. 11:05 am flight to JFK, New York. Arrival at 2:55 pm.
